Data we process

Availability requests and messages

When you fill in a form, we receive the information you enter: name, email address, dates of stay, number of guests, phone (optional) and message. It is used only to answer your request, send you an offer and, where applicable, organise your stay. It is sent by email and kept for as long as needed to handle the request and the stay, then for as long as the law requires for accounting records.

WhatsApp, email and phone

If you contact us via WhatsApp, email or phone, we process the information you give us in order to reply. WhatsApp is a Meta service subject to its own terms.

Visitor statistics

We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) to measure visits and understand which pages are useful, for example how many requests are sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes technical data (pages viewed, device type, country or region, traffic source). This data may be processed in the United States; Google participates in the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not use this data for targeted advertising. You can refuse this measurement by blocking cookies in your browser or with Google’s opt-out add-on.

Embedded content

Some pages show a Google Maps map and a YouTube video (loaded only if you click it). These services may receive your IP address and set cookies when they are displayed or used.

Hosting and security

The website is hosted by KreativMedia in Switzerland. For security, the servers log technical data (IP address, date and time, pages requested) for a limited period.

Cookies

The website uses technical cookies needed for it to work (for example your chosen language) and audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics). You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell your data. It is only shared with the providers needed to run the website and manage stays (hosting, email, Google), as described above.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and object to its processing. Write to info@cosyswisslodges.ch. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, the data protection authority of your country.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version published on this page applies.
